Providing a high quality experience to families, one birth at a time. Let’s work together to make this transition as smooth and rewarding as possible.
The Gift of MaDoula would love to help you and your family.
Educate. Support. Uplift.
Doulas are non-medical or medical professionals who will provide evidence-based information and care during a couple of months of transitioning into motherhood. Doulas are trained to provide services both pre and post-labor that are customized to address the unique needs of each birthing parent and family.
What is a doula?
We all have a tendency to put others first, but The Gift of MaDoula will remember to put you and your newborn first. The needs of each birthing parent and newborn differ, and The Gift of MaDoula is here to help. The benefits of having a doula include labor support, hands-on support, comfort techniques, and feeling supported and encouraged during this time of uncertainty. Being able to tend to the needs of your newborn can be demanding but let us help lighten the load.
Invest in your relationships with yourself and your newborn with a doula.
A doula can help improve your relationship with yourself and your body.
Be your best self after the birth of your baby. Cherishing your relationships with family, friends, yourself, and your body is important and should not be forgotten. As your doula, I want to show you the importance of rest, proper nutrition, and being one with yourself. The benefits of having a doula can help decrease the percentage of having a cesarean section, and postpartum depression, reduce stress, empower you to place yourself first and provide resources to help with breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum complications.
Being your advocate and showing you a kind, gentle way to treat the most important person in your life during this incredible new transition is the goal. Let’s have a chat to see what works best for you and your family.
